Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peach was found, wandering on the east side, alone and starving. She was covered in fleas, with much of her hair missing, her nails way over grown and had a nasty yeast infection in both ears. We do not know how long this sweet girl was on the streets, but it did not negatively impact her personality. Our vet guesses that Peach is about nine years old. Peach weighs 7 lbs. She is an extremely affectionate Chihuahua, who simply loves to sit near the family and take it all in. Peach gives kisses, loves ear and belly rubs, and will sleep in your bed at night or in a dog bed. She is easily content. She gets along well with other dogs and people, but might attach to one person for a sleeping buddy. Although not fully house trained, Peach will tell you when she needs to go. You just need to pay attention to this intelligent dog. Peach would do best in an environment where the family is a retired couple or works from home. Peach does not like to be alone, and cries when her human companions leave. The foster family absolutely adores this beautiful dog, but cannot keep Peach because their dog pack is getting to be rather large. The family who adopts Peach will truly be blessed to have this special dog become a family member! Big news! With diligent, loving care, Peach's hair is growing back in. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm/flea preventive. with all first year dental work done, her adoption fee is $250.
