Hi my name is Piper. I'm a 13-year-old very calm and loveable companion. I'm looking to relax and spend quality time with my people during my retirement years. I need a friend who is home most of the time. Don't let my age deter you though, I'm completely potty trained, listen very well, and just love to give and get love.

I'm not much of a leash walker, but I do have my moments of vitality - just ask the squirrels! Like any long hair dog I need to be brushed often.

I am a bit set in my ways and would rather not be jostled by children, but I don't mind other fur buddies.

Belly rubs are my favourite thing in the whole world besides the lucky person who picks me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Regina Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Regina, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
