Stormy is great with kids and other dogs and does not seem to mind cats. We are currently taking applications for Stromy, although we are still working to get her completely health. The link can be found below.
Please read below for more on her story:
Our Sad Stormy is looking much better thank you to our partner vet Freeport Veterinary Medical Center and her wonderful foster home, The Stewarts. Her skin is much less inflamed and red from the demodex that she had when found. Sweet girl tested heartworm positive and has already had her first round of treatment and will have her second and final round in the coming weeks.
Due to an implanted microchip, we were able to discover Stormy's sad history. She was given away unspayed along with a unneurted male when a family moved and could not take her with them. The person she was given to claimed that they gave her to someone else. Stormy was found dumped in a rural area with her one surviving pup. Unfortunately this is a sad fate for many pitties, especially in the South. We are going to do all we can to get Stormy back into healthy shape and find her a permanent home to ensure this does not happen again.
