This petite little beauty is Lexie! A sweet young thing, Lexie is approximately three years old. Lexie just LOVES her head scratches and will jump up to meet your hand for pets! If you are looking for someone to hang out with you and help you with your work, Lexie is your girl! Lexie may be tiny, but she loves her Temptations and wet food too! Lexie would love nothing more than a soft, warm lap to curl up in and someone to love her and give her a safe home. Lexie is a very loving girl, when she's comfortable in her home. Lexie is not too fond of other cats or dogs, so a home where she can be your one and only princess would be best. She would also be best in a home without children or first time cat owners, who may not know cat cues.
Lexie was living outside on her own, where it appears her owners deserted her. When she was finally trapped and brought into rescue, it was discovered that she was very pregnant and although she had a bit of frostbite and fight wounds on her ears from having to defend herself outside, she was in great health. Her caregivers discovered this beautiful young lady just wanted to be loved and have a safe place to have her babies. Lexie eventually gave birth to four babies, but unfortunately, only two survived. One has been adopted and the other is a special needs kitty, still in foster.
Our beautiful girl Lexie is patiently waiting for her forever home, where she will never have to fend for herself out side again, and will always have a nice, warm lap to snuggle in.
