Karma's Story...
Say hello to Karma, an adorable 5 year old Min Pin/Chi mix, tipping the scales at 9 lbs. She is black and tan with some white on her chest and throat. We believe that her previous owner was not kind to her. She had natural ears at some point, but they were cut. She is also missing her right rear foot, and some toes on her left rear. Despite her treatment in the past, she is a love bug! She is blossoming in her foster home, and doing very well with all of the dogs there. We think she would do great with children and cats as well, with a proper introduction. Her "rear end" disability does not slow her down in the least - she has already figured out the doggie door, and loves to go exploring in the yard. So far, she is not a barker, and is happy to go along with the flow in her foster home. She just loves cuddling with people, too! We think she will do very well in a variety of home environments! If you agree with the statement "you can't judge a book by its cover", and are looking for a wonderful ready-made pet, Karma may just be your gal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Karma, a Denver Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
