Meet Jake, a 1-2 year old rambunctious boxer with a lot of heart. He came to us very skinny as a neglect case from owners that had Alzheimer’s. He is very playful and wants to be everyone’s best friend. Jake would be better in a house without young children as he is still working on not jumping when excited. He is also working to not lick or paw people. Which he mostly does when you are not paying attention to him, so we know it was his way of telling his owners he was there for them. Jake can sit, is house and crate trained, neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on shots and preventives. Jake is dog friendly but does not understand what a “give me space please” growl is, so any sibling dogs will need to be playful and understanding. He is a sweetheart and will make someone an excellent companion.
His adoption fee is $250.
