Meet the canine rock legends Janice and Hendrix!

Janice and Hendrix, a senior bonded pair, are true stars in their own right with their irresistible charm. Hendrix, age 10 years, is the extrovert who enjoys the limelight and takes on new life experiences with puppy-like enthusiasm. Janice, age 11 years, is more reserved. She is a big sister to Hendrix in familiar surroundings but defers to him in new situations.

Janice and Hendrix once had a home. Sadly, their former family left them at the city shelter when they moved. We are helping them find a new, loving, forever home together.

Janice and Hendrix are both housebroken and well behaved. They enjoy an occasional playful wrestle and give each other reassuring kisses; they are leash-trained. They would do best in a home with no small animals. They both recently underwent a medical check-up with blood tests and x-rays; they had their teeth cleaned and a couple of benign lumps biopsied or removed. Both have arthritis but are able to go about their daily routine and enjoy their walks. Their ideal weight is about 68-70 pounds which is what they currently weigh. They can occasionally be heard softly barking in their sleep. While we don't know what they're dreaming, our guess is they know that somewhere out there is their loving, forever home.
