Brenna's Story...
Welcome Brenna. She is an 8-month-old, 15- pound Beagle/Dachshund mix. She is close to full grown in our estimate. This little girl is gentle and sweet. She is good with other dogs and was found as a stray by a good Samaritan in Lytle, Texas. She was turned in but this is a rural shelter with very little foot traffic. She is good on a leash and will vocalize if she sees something out of the ordinary. She would fit nicely in lots of different family settings. She would work in a family with children, other dogs and we can test on cats. Children 5 and older would be best because she is a small girl and could be hurt by a younger child. She requires some exercise but not mounds of it daily to be happy. She is content when you pick her up and she likes people. even strangers. She is a happy go lucky girl and will make some lucky family a great companion. She is up on her shots, healthy and will be spayed before she is adopted. Contact alicesavesdogs@gmail.com for an application. Her adoption fee is $170 and transport is $185.

Act quickly to adopt Brenna. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brenna, a Troutville Beagle/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Troutville, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Troutville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troutville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troutville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troutville paves the way for another one to be saved.
