Dax loves people and attention but also just as happy to explore by himself for a little while. Will not do well off leash unless given basic obedience. He has an explorer personality. Again, Dax is like his siblings, wants to be part of a family and will not do good just put outside even with attention. Gets along well with other dogs that are even tempered.   Dax is seven months old as of Jul '17, about 35 lbs. He is in a foster home, not at the shelter.  Contact us for our adoption application and to arrange to meet.

The staff would also like to remind you that for faster response to inquiries about adoptable animals to have the animals ID#, name & description. This way your questions will be answered in a timely manner.

All pet adoption websites & our shelter management software require that we choose a primary and/or secondary breed for our dogs.  While our staff is quite breed knowledgeable, in many cases we are truly making our best guesses as to their breed(s) based on many factors but cannot promise that what we have said is accurate.   So taking into account your own parameters for things such as size, coat care, activity level, etc please come and get to know our dog(s) as  individuals to see if their personalities and yours are a forever match.

Thank you!
