My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Gabbi and I am a little girl (about 1 year old) looking for a forever home. Foster dad named me Gabbi because I love to talk and I would really like to talk to you! I have a bit of a story to tell you. I had been wandering the streets for a long time looking for my family and food. You see, one day I had a home and the next day I didn’t. I just did not understand why they would leave me and heart was broken. I finally found a feeding station and I would sneak every day to the back of the garage where there was always food and water waiting for me. Little did I know that foster dad had spotted me and was putting food and water there intentionally inside a trap tied up so not to spring. One day the door to the trap closed. Surprise! But it was a good surprise. Foster dad took me to the doctor and the vet said that I was already spayed, so I got some shots and found out that I was in good health, except that I have a thyroid condition and need to take a pill daily. But I’m fine with the pills—they go down easy! I am negative for the bad stuff—I just can’t remember the big words the vet used! You may think I am just an ordinary Tuxedo, but I am super special. I have beautiful white whiskers and soulful eyes. But most of all I just love people—my foster dad showed me how kind, loving and compassionate people can be—and I have such fun talking and carrying on conversations. I have been blessed with a deep feeling of love. I have good health, now all I need is someone to love me and give me my forever home. I will repay your kindness to me ten times over in cuddles, purrs and good conversation! Please call 516-781-1267. Thank you!
