I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Allie is a very active but very small cattle dog. Believe it or not she is just 27 lbs and is about 10 Months to 1 year old. So her adult weight she be at or under 30 lbs. That's about the size of a cocker spaniel. She gets along with dogs she knows but on initial greeting of new dogs she growls and snaps by their face, but she is loose in a yard with 8 other dogs and she plays and gets along with them fine she just needs another dog that won't take offense to that the first few hours of greeting. She still wants to chase the cats, no cows around here for her to herd so the cats take their place. She loves to play in the water from a water hose. She chases it as quickly as a cat after a mouse. Watch the video, she is so fun. She is young and has not had any guidance growing up but is very ready for a family to take her in and love her and train her. She is crate trained now and learning some commands. Heelers are very smart and always want to learn. She seems to like kids but keep in mind her herding instints could cause her to run and snap at thier heels when they play, so older kids are better, and never allowing this behavior is a must. much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Guthrie breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who
