Gunner and Daytona are a bonded pair of hounds that were relinquished to a shelter by their owner as she was moving and could not take them with her. They both seem to be about 9 years old and still fairly active. They are very attached to each other and need to be adopted together.

Gunner is a medium male Beagle with the classic tri-color coat. He is very quiet and will only bark if he sees another dog walking outside. He grooms Daytona every day.

Daytona is a medium female Basset with the classic tri-color marking. She likes to "sing" along with her foster mother. She will even run for a bit, with Gunner right behind her! They will not go outside without the other-they always want to be together!
Both are house trained, walk correctly on a leash, and love going in the car for rides. They love people and children and are quick to roll over for belly rubs. They are laid back and friendly around other dogs and do great when they are among large groups of people.

If you have room in your heart for these two sweet and calm love bugs, please contact BROOD today! Their combined adoption fee is $280.

**Only BROOD approved adopters can meet a dog. The adoption application is on the BROOD website. We require a home visit and a veterinary reference. The age of many Brood dogs is unknown, as very few come with official records. The estimate on the dog's age is usually the initial estimate given by the receiving shelter, which may be different from that given at the time of the initial checkup. Different veterinarians may also give different ages, and those different opinions are sometimes reflected on the record. ***BROOD's adoption fees are determined based on age of the dog. 07/09/2017
