Kimi's Story...
Kimi is about as cute as they come. She somehow got lost, was picked up by a friend and brought to one of our fosters. We searched for her owners, but no one came forward. She is energetic and playful as well as cuddly and inquisitive. She has a rare wild beauty that makes her look like she should be a character in a Wild Kratts adventure (TV show). she is scheduled to be spayed soon and can go home after her spay. An application, adoption fee of $80, landlord approval if renting, safety homecheck are required in order to adopt Kimi. we also require an indoor-only pledge. She is worth the extra hassle. discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kimi, a Eureka Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
