Introducing Pixie!! Pixie is a special girl who is a.45 lb lab mix, approximately 1 yr old. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heart worm preventative! This girl lights up a room as soon as she enters! Her nonstop tail action just makes you smile. Pixie had a rough start, loosing her ear shortly after birth to a mom who didn't want her. Pixie is completely deaf, has an interesting gate, and just oozes personality and love. With all her idiosyncratic traits, she is house and crate trained and absolutely loves all!! If you are interested in meeting this fabulous gal , contact us, or email
*because she is deaf she requires a fenced in yard*

About Project Hope Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We focus primarily on rescuing senior and special needs dogs in kill facilities. We are located on 30 acres of land in rural southern Michigan. We are a care-for-life facility, so any dog that does not or that we deem cannot be adopted will live with us for the rest of his/her life. Because we rescue the dogs that are not in high demand, it normally takes our dogs longer to find that perfect family. We believe that it takes a special family to adopt our special dogs.

Please contact us to set up a date and time to meet our dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

We require that the interested adopter come to meet the dog and then fill out an adoption application. We will review the application and then pass on to the dog's foster family (if applicable). We then contact the potential adopter's vet and we will also do a home visit. If all goes well, the adopter signs our adoption contract stating that, among other things, the dog will receive regular vet care and must be returned to us if things do not work out.
