Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, everyone! It’s me, Chico!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE squeaky toys, especially balls that squeak! If you’re looking for a play buddy, I’m your guy. I also just love snuggling. It doesn’t matter where or what we’re doing, I believe snuggling always makes it better. Watching TV? Sitting on the couch, chair or floor? Going to bed? Snuggle Snuggle Snuggle! Walks are a favorite part of my day. That’s right, walks, as in plural! I’m really energetic and need to burn some of that energy off. Walks help me do that, and they’re a lot of fun, too! I’ve even been know to turn my walk into a little run! I also love to run and chase after balls in the back yard. Remember how I mentioned those squeaky balls? Can’t forget those.
Speaking of chase…. Foster mom says I must go to a home with no cats or non-canine animals. I have lots of foster siblings, and after a proper introduction, I decided I like the other dog, my foster sister Daisy (she's also small like me). But I don’t really like the cat or rabbits, so none of those, please! Don’t have another dog? That’s okay! I’d also be happy to be your one and only!
I’ve also learned some manners. I’m getting really good at “sit” and “stay.” I think I’m getting the hang of “leave it” and “come.” When we play ball, I’m also learning “bring it” and “drop.” I’m not a fan of people taking things out of my mouth (who is?!?!), so I have to drop the ball first. A trade helps me do that. Foster momma also says I can’t go pee in the house, so she showed me pee pads for when I just can’t hold it, and she gets SUPER excited and happy when I go potty outside. I’m almost completely house trained!!! I’ll keep working on that one.
