Rocky was a stray from a suburban animal control.
ABOUT:
Rocky is a spunky, outgoing guy. He’s still young, so he can be very energetic. He loves running down long hallways and hunting for hair toys. He also likes to play with more conventional cat toys, and will occasionally launch a sneak attack on your feet as you walk by. Rocky would be most happy with someone who wants to spend some time each day playing with him. His calmer activities include watching birds and cuddling on the sofa.
Rocky currently lives with a dog who is not very fond of him so they are kept separate. Rocky was initially very curious about the dog so he could potentially be a good fit for a home with a cat friendly/social dog. Rocky has never been around cats during our time with him so we do not know how he behaves with other cats.
Rocky is very confident and has no problem man-spreading all around the house and is totally comfortable with the little pudge on his belly hanging out for all to see. Rocky likes to determine if you are cuddling or if you are playing. If he decides that you are cuddling, he loves to have his belly rubbed. If he decides that you’re playing your hand is going to get it! Because Rocky can be a little enthusiastic about his playing he would be a better match for older kids who can tell if he is in a playful mood or a cuddly mood.
