Fawn is our quirky little Italian Greyhound Chihuahua mix. Fawn found her way into rescue when she tested positive for heartworm. She has now completed all of her heartworm treatment and is ready to find her furever home.
Fawn is a young girl, 5 years old, and has had some struggles in her short life. Besides being heartworm positive, Fawn also has some nerve damage which makes her sensitive to touch. Once she trusts her person, she loves them completely and wants to be with them as much as possible. Fawn loves to snuggle and play with her person. She is mostly housebroken and is crate trained. She does need a fenced in yard. Fawn is good with kids but would do best in a home with children over the age of 12, who can understand her needs, and be aware of her sensitivity. Fawn does get along with other dogs. She does have some special needs, but that's what makes her a special girl.
Fawn is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and she has completed her heartworm treatment. Fawn will need to remain on heartworm treatment for the rest of her life. Please take that into consideration if you are interested in making Fawn your special girl! Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested!
