Peeka's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Peeka's Story...
Miss Peeka is a 14 year old sweet kitty who wants to be queen of her castle and needs to be an only pet. Please do not let her age turn you away, as she would act her age if she knew what it was.....she can leap tall cat towers in a single bound.....run across the room and she can play like a kitten!! She loves to nudge you to let you know she wants to be pet and is just looking for a lovable retirement home.

If adopting a cat or kitten, we ask that you please bring a carrier to take your new Family member home, as they cannot leave the Shelter unless in a carrier.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peeka, a Albion Domestic Longhair/Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair/Domestic Shorthair for sale in Albion, or seeking a Domestic Longhair/Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Albion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair/Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair/Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albion paves the way for another one to be saved.
