UPDATED 7/10/17 (First Posted 3/27/17.) Georgina is one lucky kitty! Right after she was hit by a car and left to die in the middle of the road, a good samaritan spotted her, scooped her up and took her to a vet office where she received after hours emergency treatment. Georgina had two crushed hind legs and at the time it was uncertain whether she had any internal injuries or a broken pelvis. After stabilizing her, x-rays were taken and the diagnosis was two fractured legs requiring extensive surgery. Despite the ordeal, Georgina never stopped purring and she is one of the sweetest kitties we have ever seen! Everyone who meets her just loves her! The first surgery went well but unfortunately one of the legs did not heal the way we were hoping and that meant amputation. Now Georgina is doing just fine walking on three legs, skipping and jumping through life. We are just thankful that we were able to save her. She is young, only about 4 years old, extremely sweet and affectionate, she LOVES playing with toys, especially the laser toy! And she is just a joy to have around. Georgina gets along with other cats and can be around smaller dogs and older, calmer large breed dogs. Georgina is spayed, she is current on vaccinations, she tested negative for FeLV/FIV, she is micro chipped and she is on flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Georgina please fill out an adoption application on our web site Let us know if you have any questions. An adoption application has to be filled out prior to setting up a meeting. Georgina's adoption fee is $75. No small children please.
