Mac, AKA Macadoodle or MacMac, couldn't love people more! MacMac is a 50 pound pibble mix. This sweet guy has never met a human he didn't love or want to snuggle with. If affection were a food, we think Mac would survive on it alone. He wants to sleep in bed with his humans and hang out on the couch with you, too. What a self-esteem boost!
Pibble mixes are notoriously smart! This guy is potty trained and Macadoodle always comes when he's called when outside and is extremely obedient. Take this guy for a ride in the car and he's game! Maybe drive through and get a puppuccino? He wouldn't mind.
Mac gets along great with other dogs, females in particular. He's pretty flirtatious! He'd love to find a home with other dogs as he loves companionship. Got cats? Mac doesn't care. He leaves them be!
Are you lucky enough to get to bring your pups to work with you? Mac is GREAT in the office! Slap a tie on him and hand him a phone. He'll make the sale, guaranteed.

MacMac is low energy, but will do best with a family that won't leave him alone all day every day. He loves companionship and interaction! Did we mention he loves kids?

Adopt this perfect pup ASAP before someone else does!

About Paws In The City

About Our Rescue Group...

Paws In The City® is committed to supporting the City of Dallas Animal Shelter by hosting off-site adoptions for the dogs and spay/neuter education and fundraising through specific outreach programs.

Paws In The City is a nonprofit, 501 (c) 3 organization committed to ending overpopulation, abuse and neglect of Dallas dogs and cats . We are an all volunteer organization with no paid staff.

Paws In The City is committed to the following goals:

 Rescuing homeless dogs and cats from the City of Dallas animal shelters by sponsoring off-site adoptions to find these abandoned animals terrific, loving homes…often many of these wonderful pets are days away from being euthanized simply because there are not enough homes... a tragedy we are determined to end;

 Providing a comforting and positive environment for adoptions;

 Providing medical care to neglected, abused, and injured animals through our outreach efforts;

 Educating the public on responsible pet ownership; and

 Supporting spay and neuter programs…the simple, common sense solution to ending the number of unwanted dogs and cats on our streets and in our city shelters.

Why we do it

25,699 were killed by lethal injection.
Less than 2000 were adopted or re-claimed by owners.

Come Meet Our Pets...

See our website for adopt-a-pet locations and times on Saturdays.

Otherwise, once we receive your application we can make arrangements for you to meet the animal. Usually, the foster parent will bring the animal to your home.

Our Adoption Process...

Requirements to Adopt a Dog in Foster Care: Before adopting, we require an approved pre-adoption application, an interview, a home check, a signed adoption contract and an adoption fee (dogs=$200 / puppies=$250 / cats=$125) to cover the animal’s health-related expenses and boarding while in our care. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, are current on shots, tested and de-wormed.
