This Blue Heeler girl is about 4-5 years old and has had several litters of pups in her lifetime.  She is a tiny thing at just barely over 30 pounds and she is smart and devoted like a Blue Heeler breed can be.  She needs some time to eat good dog food and get her mojo back and she will be in tip top shape for life!  She came in as a stray to a small town Tennessee shelter with two of her young daughters who are just over a year old.  It seems she may have been an outdoor dog with not a lot of time spent with a family.  But she is more than happy to learn this new lifestyle of being a part of the family.  Blue Dahlia will make a great companion because she is on the more calm, sweet and thoughtful side.  She is housetrained and just the sweetest girl ever.  She is good with cats, dogs and would be great with children as well.  She is going to be someone’s special companion in life and grateful every day for the life she will now have.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Companion Rescue- Richmond VA

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
