Skye's Story...
Hi! I'm Skye! It's so great to meet you, thanks for stopping by my page to read a little bit about me. I'm a 2-year old, 20lbs, Jack Russell Terrier mix from the south where I was found with my four-month old baby on the side of the road. Now that my baby making days are behind me and I'm safe (so is my baby) I'm ready to start my forever with you!!!! So a bit about me: I'm sweet, cuddly and gentle. I love to cuddle with my foster family, I don't mind dogs and I'm good with dog savvy kitties too! I'm also housebroken and I don't need to be crated during the day while you are at work. I can get jealous of other dogs getting attention if I'm not (not in a bad way), so I would do best as the only dog in your home so that I can soak up ALL the love and attention you have to give! My foster mom even says I'm the calmest JRT she's ever met and if you know the JRT breed... that is HUGE!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye, a Sugar Grove Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Sugar Grove, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Sugar Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
