**This is what volunteers have to say about me " Such a gorgeous cat with silky-smooth black fur and a very sweet demeanor.", " She loves having long conversations. She's an absolutely gorgeous little lady who loves chin rubs and full body pets."**
I am a sweet black kitty with large yellow eyes and a lovely soft coat. When I first came to the shelter several weeks ago I had some pretty serious problems with my skin and after spending some time in foster care and receiving treatment, I am now doing very well and am ready to look for my new home. I have a loving and affectionate personality and enjoy being petted. During my time in foster care my caretaker said that I love receiving affection but didn't seem very interested in playing and I found lots of different places to take naps and hang out but didn't care much for the company of active children. The staff here at the shelter said that I should probably be the only cat in my new home as the presence of other kitties seems to stress me. I don't like to be brushed or picked up but if you let me make the first move I'll tell you how I like to receive attention from my people. I'm talkative, independent and full of kitty kisses, so please come out the shelter and check me out!
