Facts about Riley
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
I am already spayed.
Hi Riley here. Still waiting for my forever home. I was a stray running around St. Albert. I am super smart and can sit, shake a paw and lay down. I love playing with toys. I am kennel trained. I am ok with most animals I just need to be introduced first. I am a little dominant at first so would do best with a laid back friend. I love my people and will shower you with kisses. I would do best with older kids like 6 and up that are respectful. If you would love to meet me and be my forever family please apply on line.
The Barrhead Animal Rescue Society (B.A.R.S.) was established in January 2010, and is dedicated to ensuring the humane treatment of all animals in the Town of Barrhead, the County of Barrhead and surrounding areas.
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted, abandoned, lost, and mistreated pets until they can be placed into loving homes. Through proactive intervention, public education, fundraising events, and community outreach, the Barrhead Animal Rescue Society seeks to promote respect for all life by breaking the cycle of abuse, neglect, and pet overpopulation in our communities.
The Barrhead Animal Rescue Society is supported through private contributions.

Our Adoption Process...
All adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline/small animal) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 48 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.
All dogs and puppies have an adoption fee of $300, kittens under 6 months of age have an adoption fee of $250, and cats over 6 months of age have an adoption fee of $200, unless otherwise noted. Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
