Velocity is a beautiful, fawn brindle Pit bull mix.  She listens well and knows "come," "sit," "down" and "no." She is a smart girl and ready to learn more.  She is perfect in her temporary home, both inside and out. Completely house-trained. She loves attention, but also does well when you are not home in her outside fenced area.  Velocity is very affectionate and loves to snuggle on the couch. She will also keep you warm at night because she loves to sleep in bed with you and prefers to be under the covers. She is a pretty easy-going gal - even the fireworks didn’t bother her! She is about 5 years old and 65 pounds.  This beauty is looking for a home that will give her all the attention, as she does not get along with other animals. Due to her not getting along with other animals, she will need a fenced area in her new home. If you do not have any pets and would like to give Velocity a new home, call Jim at (828)682-5754

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
