My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a 6 year old, 50 pound Flat Coat Retriever mix. She is a calm, gentle soul and does great with other dogs, kids, and cats. Rosie walks nicely on a leash and has good house manners. She is happiest when she is with her people. Her whole body wiggles when she wags her tail. Rosie would love a 4 legged playmate in her new home and people that are around quite a bit to give her lots of attention. She would like a home with a fenced yard so she can run and play safely.
We know Rosie was originally adopted from a shelter and then Rosie’s owner left her with a family member and never came back to get her. The person who had Rosie surrendered her back to the shelter. From there she came into our foster based rescue. We have no idea why someone wouldn’t love Rosie and want to keep her forever, she is an easy girl and would be a great family dog.
Rosie is housetrained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
