I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Lilac and her friends have been given a new lease on life. They were all slated to be euthanized after an Amish puppy mill was shut down. Friendship and other rescues stepped in and saved every dog at the puppy mill. All are very gentle and amazingly friendly, but have never lived in a home so will need a patient family to help them. Lilac is one of the friendliest. She's a 4 year old Beagle mix that was one of the first adopted and recently returned because a child in the family was allergic to her. The family was devastated because in the short time they had her they grew to love her. The adopter said she was great with the children (one is a toddler) in the family. Lilac is still working on her house training but is getting much better daily. She got along fine with the family cat. Lilac learned a lot in her first home. She's hoping she gets adopted again soon so she doesn't forget all she's learned. Please stop by and take a look.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
