Hi! I'm Heidi! I'm looking for my new, loving, forever home! I spent the first 2 years of my life in a puppy mill. The next 2 years I spent with a lady and her four kids who up and decided one day she wanted a different dog, so she surrendered me. I think I'm lucky though because I'm now going to find my perfect forever home! I've had a ruff life and I'm ready to be treated like the little princess I am! Yes, I'm a little beauty and shy sweetie! I'm approx. 4 years old and approx. 8 tiny pounds(7/10). Once I get to know you, I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. You'll see how adorable l am in my video. I'm good with kids, cats and other dogs. I have a very gentle and submissive temperament. That said, I'm a very skittish dog! It takes me a while to trust humans. Right now, I spend a lot of time out in a big fenced in yard playing with other dogs. I use the dog door. When I come in I go to a little corner by myself and lie down. I do alright when someone picks me up, puts me in their lap and loves on me. I will need a forever person or family that will be patient with me, socialize me and teach me what being a loved dog is all about. With the right owner, I will blossom into the perfect dog! I will need a harness instead of a leash. Right now the leash freaks me out and I pull badly and could hurt my throat. If you're a patient, compassionate person that has the time to spend to help a dog become it's best self and want to give a dog a better life, then look no further! I promise to reward you with hugs, kisses and complete loyalty! I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! I'll provide the unconditional love and you can provide the safe and loving home!

All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada.
