Additional info: Coming to the USA around August 2nd.

This beautiful pup comes to us from Iran August 2nd. She is an orphan and was rescued from the streets with some of her siblings. Her mother was most likely killed by the city. Locals were throwing rocks at the puppies and using them for target practice. Fortunately, one of our dedicated volunteers managed to get them off the streets and arrange passage for them to Los Angeles. Grace was one of the lucky ones and escaped without injury. As a result of the hostility in her short life so far, though, Grace is fearful of people. She has been attacked and traumatized but she is obviously so eager to trust. She is starting to gain confidence and will do well when she can release her fears. She is still young right now and needs a little time to put the past behind her but already she is allowing us to pet her. Her legs were covered in tar and her fur had to be cut off and she has had some coat damage from fleas and a slight case of mange in the past. As her nutrition improves and she responds to treatment she will grow into the beauty she was meant to be. Grace gets along well with other her siblings and is very playful. We would love it if Grace could go straight into his forever home when she arrives.
