Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Burley is a 7 year old merle male Dane with natural ears who has come back to MAGDRL after his family relocated and started a new family. Burley is very good with small children but when excited could knock them down or step on them so he was returned. Burley is a typical Velcro Dane who loves his people.Update 10/15/17 - Burley came to his new foster home with a benign cyst on his rump. As it seemed to be bothering him, we had it removed. Since then he has become even more sweet and affectionate! He now likes to sit on your lap and in chairs. He loves car rides, sitting on the back seat with his head on the driver's arm rest (or shoulder!). He still barks a lot and can be, well, a bit stubborn, but he's very treat-motivated! Burley plays like crazy with his ball and if you don't throw it he will bark in your face. His foster mom also bought him some stuffies for inside and he LOVES them! Especially the squeaky one. He will throw it up and pounce on it and chew just to hear it squeak! He's very goofy. He and his foster brother get along very, very well, but he loves his people the best. Burley is still not a fan of little dogs, but would do well in a home as an only dog or with a larger-breed buddy.
MAGDRL adopts to eastern NY, NJ, eastern PA, DE, MD, DC, WV and VA only. For adoption procedures and fencing policies please see our website at www.magdrl.org
