A Little Bit About Me

Some people like cats who act like dogs - the Maine Cooners. Some like cats who act like cats - the Egyptian god thing. Sleek and sophisticated Anna falls into the latter category. She plays her cards close to her vest and enjoys you on her terms. Once she acquaints herself with you she is affectionate, gentle and sweet, never overly demanding of your attention. Anna's pet pal friends love her and find her calmness a plus. Anna will sit in your lap, purr and make biscuits when she feels comfortable in her environment. When she feels like playing she's a fun companion.

Anna is trouble free in many respects; her idea of a perfect day is sleeping on the couch with the sun on her face. She doesn't need much grooming and she's a cheap date when it comes to food. Ironically, for such a classy gal, she only likes the low rent stuff. Go figure. The lady has exquisite taste, after all. The Egyptians would worship Anna. Maybe you will too.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
