Facts about Briggs

  • Species: Guinea Pig
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Unknown
Briggs is a handsome young adult boar who is an easy keeper. He is fairly tame and takes veggies from his foster mom's hand. Before coming to OCCH he was housed with too many pigs in a small cage, he has responded well to foster care and happily popcorns on his fleece bedding and enjoys his morning laps around the cage. His veggie radar is on constant high alert and his face will peep over the edge of the coroplast if he smells any snacks in the vicinity. Briggs would love a forever home with another piggy friend and a big roomy cage.

About Orange County Cavy Haven

About Our Rescue Group...

Orange County Cavy Haven is a non-profit organization dedicated to rehoming guinea pigs in Southern California. We rescue abandoned guinea pigs from shelters in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Our guinea pigs are rehabilitated, socialized, and fostered by volunteers until they are ready to be adopted.

Orange County Cavy Haven was founded in 2003 as a rescue for guinea pigs. Although we are based in Orange County, we rescue guinea pigs from L.A. and Bay Area shelters as well. We also have foster homes in L.A. County.

We are always in need of new foster homes. Please email to find out more info about fostering for our rescue. To find out more about our rescue, visit out website.
