Hello World!

Karma, that's me. Do you like my picture? The volunteer said it could've been a lot better if I'd stayed still for just a couple of seconds. I was just so glad to see a human playmate that I completely lost control of my tail. When that happens, it gets to wagging so fast that the rest of me sort of follows along. Happiness! That's my normal state of being.

My weekend foster mom said that I'm very well behaved inside the home, I do not chew on anything and I don't have accidents in the house. I'm very calm and cuddly but do get exited when it is time to go for a walk. I'm very gentle with children and love to give kisses. I so wish I wouldn't have to go back to the kennel. I find couches very intriguing.

I'm about 55 pounds of pure love and happiness; never met a human I didn't like. I can be sassy with other dogs and would do best in a home where I don’t have to compete for love. Cats? Well, not so much. I keep my kennel impeccable, walk well on leash and know how to sit for treats. I am very playful and love to get my belly rubbed. I am the definition of a true cuddle bug. Humans think I am hilarious because I will literally throw myself on the ground showing my belly in the hopes someone will rub it.

I hope the kennel staff won't take offense when I tell you how much I want out of this place. They all love me, and say good things like, “I can't believe Karma hasn't been adopted yet, she's so sweet.” I love them back but it gets lonely here at night. I would love to have my very own human. Someone that would enjoy going on walks just as much as I do. Someone that can't help but to be affectionate just like I am. If you are looking for a pup who is submissive, loving, loyal, good with kids and just darn cute, well, I'm your girl! Can't wait to finally meet you.

About Corridor Rescue - Vancouver Transports

About Our Rescue Group...

Corridor Rescue Inc. is an all-breed 501(c)(3) non-profit street dog rescue on a mission of mercy, rescue and awareness -- a mission to save lives and correct an injustice to animals who have been thrown away and left to fend for themselves in an area in Houston dubbed the "Corridor of Cruelty." Here, trash and animals are discarded without thought on a regular basis. We're not talking about a handful of animals, but hundreds of animals fighting to simply survive another day.

Founded by one person, Corridor Rescue has grown its team of volunteers, from all walks of life, united in an effort to help this community of orphaned animals in desperate need of help. We work to rescue hard to capture dogs and cats, to rescue and rehabilitate diseased and injured dogs, to facilitate the rescue of animals mainly from the Corridor of Cruelty but also from other areas of Houston, and to educate about spay/neuter and animal cruelty laws.

Success happens on the streets every day, yet we know that our fight is far from over.
