My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is an adorable 8 to 10-month-old Chihuahua. He is very sweet and doesn't have any nipping or barking tendancies at all. He gets along well with other dogs and does well in a crate too! Duke doesn't know any commands yet, but he is working on it in his foster home. He can be a bit timid at first, especially around men. It seems like Duke had never been on a leash before so he had to get used to it in his foster home, but now he walks great and doesn't pull.

Duke is semi-potty trained. He goes days without accidents; however, his foster mom has caught him marking territory in the house a few times. Hopefully this behavior will stop once he gets neutered this week. Duke is a calm and affectionate dog who enjoys sitting on your lap. You can tell this guy craves to be loved by a human. He is a great companion and we're sure he will make someone very happy!
