Meet smiley face Minnie.

Ever since her rescue she hasn't stopped smiling. She was found in a truck yard looking miserable. One of her eyes was badly infected and shot close and she had straps tight around her neck and belly. There was no way that we could leave her behind. She eagerly agreed that it was her time to get a freedom ride of the cruel streets and hopped into the car.

Minnie is all smiles now and she can see clearly now, too. Minnie has a joyful exuberance and greets everyone with a big grin. She loves to go from person to person giving kisses and a big smile. So far we think she needs to be the only dog. She loves people, especially those, who take her on a car ride to the park. She has heard about those wonderful foster homes and would love to be welcomed into one. A forever home would be wonderful, too.

Minnie is a 2 year old Labrador Retriever / Spaniel mix and weighs around 50lbs.

Please contact us if you think you want to help a former street dog enjoy the finer things in life. We will provide foster parents with food, crate, collar and cover all medical costs.

**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $275. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $75.

The adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip.

We are a street dog rescue in Houston, Texas seeking to place rescued dogs in loving homes across the US and Canada. Our region has more homeless animals than homes, so we look outside of our area for adopters.

About Corridor Rescue, Inc. - Denver Transport

About Our Rescue Group...

Corridor Rescue Inc. is an all-breed 501(c)(3) non-profit street dog rescue on a mission of mercy, rescue and awareness -- a mission to save lives and correct an injustice to animals who have been thrown away and left to fend for themselves in an area in Houston dubbed the "Corridor of Cruelty." Here, trash and animals are discarded without thought on a regular basis. We're not talking about a handful of animals, but hundreds of animals fighting to simply survive another day.

Founded by one person, Corridor Rescue has grown its team of volunteers, from all walks of life, united in an effort to help this community of orphaned animals in desperate need of help. We work to rescue hard to capture dogs and cats, to rescue and rehabilitate diseased and injured dogs, to facilitate the rescue of animals mainly from the Corridor of Cruelty but also from other areas of Houston, and to educate about spay/neuter and animal cruelty laws.

Success happens on the streets every day, yet we know that our fight is far from over.
