Luna's Story...
We adopted our puppy Luna on June 18 of 2017. Unfortunately, our family has encountered a situation whereby we are not able to keep her. We are looking for someone who will be able to give her all the love and attention she needs. She is a happy, friendly puppy with lots of energy to spare. She is 14 weeks old as of today (July 11, 2017) and weighs around 20lbs. If we are not able to give her a new home soon, she will have to go to a shelter by Friday, July 14, 2017.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Ooltewah Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Ooltewah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Ooltewah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ooltewah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ooltewah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ooltewah paves the way for another one to be saved.
