Max was returned to us because be barks a lot. He is a 17 year old dog who really needs a home to relax for the rest of his life. He is on a few different medications that help his heart and arthritis. He goes out with our other small dogs and walks very well on a leash. He also has some vision problems, but it does not seem to bother him. He does not require any treatment for his eyes at this time. He has had a dental procedure done, but still has fistulas on his canine teeth. Our vet feels that it would be too much to put him under anesthesia again. Max is available for foster and adoption. We hope he will not have to spend the rest of his life in a shelter. He needs a nice, calm home to relax.
We could not say NO......this sweet senior, Max, was owner surrendered to a high kill shelter.
Max would like everyone to know he never imagined something like this to happen to him at his age. 17 and in a shelter. He is available for fostering/adoption and is up to date on all shots.
Max knows there is someone out there that would love his company, a companion to sit with and love.
Please put an application in for Max and he will show you a special kind of love.
