Ace 2's Story...
Ace 2's Story...
This adorable guy is way too cute to be homeless! Ace 2 is a friendly, 2-year old male Beagle mixed likely with some hound. He has a short, easy to groom coat, and is a nice size for just about any home. He gets along well with most other dogs and cats, but would also do well as the only dog in the home. He can be a tad bit shy at times, and startles a bit with quick movements. He likely has never had toys before, so he can be a bit toy possessive and would do best with an owner who has experience with and understands resource guarding. He very much appreciates having his own "space," especially his sleeping area, and prefers not to be disturbed. He loves to run around the yard and play and does very nicely on leash and on walks. He is also very attentive and interested in his person, so training should be a lot of fun. Beagles make nice family companions and this cutie is definitely a catch. He would love to be in a loving home and hopes you will ask to meet him! Ace is approved for children aged 12 and older. If you'd like to meet this handsome boy, please submit an adoption application online at www.barkva.org or contact us at email@example.com or call 804-449-BARK(2275).
About B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)
The primary focus at B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)is rescuing orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from local shelters and finding loving, forever homes for them. B.A.R.K. covers healthcare costs for its orphans by using our Jessica Beath Clinic who provide routine vaccinations or booster shots, disease testing & treatment (heartworm, etc.), and spay/neuter services. B.A.R.K volunteer foster's provide safe environments for rescued animals until they are adopted by loving individuals and families. Our first priority is the care and safety of our orphans. We also do our best to be a resource for dog owners within the community and support others who are advocating for the welfare of dogs.

Our Adoption Process...
The potential adopter completes an application. The application is reviewed within 3-5 business days. If the application is approved, arrangements are made for a visit between the dog, a BARK representative and the potential applicant. At that time, if a decision is made to adopt the dog, a BARK contract is completed and an adoption donation of $150.00 is accepted.
