If you're in the market for a calm, laid back companion, then we have the perfect girl for you! Stacy is an incredibly sweet, 8-9 year old fawn bulldog mix in search of a loving, forever home. She is a little "fluffy" at around 75 pounds and is currently working on slimming down a bit. Stacy gets along well with other similarly sized dogs (no small dogs please), but would be just as content being the queen of the house. She loves being with her person and is an excellent cuddler - the closer the better. She walks very well on leash and loves a leisurely stroll. Stacy does have some mild hip displaysia and arthritis consistent with her age, but surgical intervention is not recommended. She will do very well with some supplements and perhaps some water therapy. This gorgeous girl will make a wonderful companion for a lucky owner - hopefully one who appreciates all of the wonderful things that an older dog brings to the table. If you'd like to meet Stacy, please submit an application online at www.barkva.org, email adopt@barkva.org, or call 804-449-2275(BARK) today. We promise it's a decision you won't regret!

About B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)

About Our Rescue Group...

Our MISSION

The primary focus at B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)is rescuing orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from local shelters and finding loving, forever homes for them.
B.A.R.K. covers healthcare costs for its orphans by using our Jessica Beath Clinic who provide routine vaccinations or booster shots, disease testing & treatment (heartworm, etc.), and spay/neuter services.
B.A.R.K volunteer foster's provide safe environments for rescued animals until they are adopted by loving individuals and families.
Our first priority is the care and safety of our orphans. We also do our best to be a resource for dog owners within the community and support others who are advocating for the welfare of dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

BARK has adoption events every Saturday at our Jessica Beath Clinic 12300 Farrington Road Ashland from 12:00 - 3:00 pm.

The 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, BARK also has an adoption event at Cosner's Corner Petsmart 9751 Jefferson Davis Highway Fredericksburg Va 22407 from 11:00 - 2:00 pm

Our Adoption Process...

The potential adopter completes an application. The application is reviewed within 3-5 business days. If the application is approved, arrangements are made for a visit between the dog, a BARK representative and the potential applicant. At that time, if a decision is made to adopt the dog, a BARK contract is completed and an adoption donation of $150.00 is accepted.
