Kimmie is a young, white and tan terrier mix who is around 8 years old. She weighs about 55 pounds and is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. Kimmie can sometimes be a little shy but she quickly bonds to her person and loves nothing more than to sit beside you and soak in the attention. Chin scratches and belly rubs are two of her favorite past times! She walks well on a leash and looks to her person for direction and reassurance. Kimmie longs for a loving, forever home preferably with a fenced yard where she can run and play. She would love nothing more than a soft, warm bed and a few toys to call her own. We recommend a home with mature children as Kimmie needs introduction to new places and things at a slower pace. If you have another dog, she would sure like to meet them since certain canine friends can make her feel insecure. Kimmie has been enjoying life in a wonderful foster home, but is so deserving of a forever home of her own! She is wonderful in the house, has great house manners and is crate trained. If you can help provide a forever home for Kimmie, please fill out an application at www.barkva.org, email adopt@barkva.org or call 804-449-2275 today!

About B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)

About Our Rescue Group...

Our MISSION

The primary focus at B.A.R.K. (Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9's)is rescuing orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from local shelters and finding loving, forever homes for them.
B.A.R.K. covers healthcare costs for its orphans by using our Jessica Beath Clinic who provide routine vaccinations or booster shots, disease testing & treatment (heartworm, etc.), and spay/neuter services.
B.A.R.K volunteer foster's provide safe environments for rescued animals until they are adopted by loving individuals and families.
Our first priority is the care and safety of our orphans. We also do our best to be a resource for dog owners within the community and support others who are advocating for the welfare of dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

BARK has adoption events every Saturday at our Jessica Beath Clinic 12300 Farrington Road Ashland from 12:00 - 3:00 pm.

The 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, BARK also has an adoption event at Cosner's Corner Petsmart 9751 Jefferson Davis Highway Fredericksburg Va 22407 from 11:00 - 2:00 pm

Our Adoption Process...

The potential adopter completes an application. The application is reviewed within 3-5 business days. If the application is approved, arrangements are made for a visit between the dog, a BARK representative and the potential applicant. At that time, if a decision is made to adopt the dog, a BARK contract is completed and an adoption donation of $150.00 is accepted.
