Simeon has the cutest face and boy is this sweet guy a charmer! He isn't super fond of toys, but likes treats and is curious and calm around other dogs. He does enjoys spending time walking with his buddy Garfunkel and human anytime he gets the chance. His other hobbies include exploring and being gently petted. Simeon is waiting to meet you to see if you might fit his human requirements, so come on down and meet him!

About Our Shelter...

The Humane Educational Society was in incorporated in 1910 by Ethel Hardy who was known for picking up stray cats and dogs while driving her carriage through the streets of Chattanooga. Since then, we have grown to serve Hamilton County and take in 4,000-5,000 homeless pets each year. We are an open-door facility to residents of our service area and provide shelter and care for homeless pets, adoption services, animal protection, cruelty investigation and pet licenses. HES is committed to finding each and every treatable, adoptable and trainable animal in our facility a loving home and making Hamilton County a better place for pets.

Saturday 11am-5pm
Sunday 12pm-4pm (adoptions only)

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must first fill out an application. If approved the adoption fee is $85 for dogs and $25 for cats, which includes all inoculations and rabies shot, the spay/neuter fee, a microchip and registration, de-worming and free shelter insurance for 1 month.
