Keegan in DFW's Story...
Keegan is a blue and white, wild Irish boy who is very sweet and sure to make you laugh! At 2 years old, he has all of the puppy fun without the bad habits! It took awhile for him to notice the resident cat, but one he discovered her it was play time. He also realized that she can clean ears just as good as he can!

Keegan gets along well with the resident big Greyhound too. When Keegan first came to us he was a little too fond of our Greyhound and was a bit pesky, but he has learned to give our Greyhound some breathing room and has also learned that if he offers a bit of ear cleaning our big boy will overlook some of Keegan's pesky behavior.

Keegan also gets along well with the other Iggies in the house and the other small dogs. He loves to cuddle next to you on the couch. And, like most Iggies, he loves to be under a blanket. Keegan gets along with kids and people. He could be an only dog or enjoy a companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keegan in DFW, a Argyle Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Argyle, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Argyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Argyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Argyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Argyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
