Meet Kingston! Kingston was adopted from Wright-Way as an 8 week old puppy. His family could no longer keep him, so they took him to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Since CACC is a kill facility, we transferred Kingston back to Wright-Way to give him a second chance for a forever home. Kingston is a very sweet dog who needs a lot of room to stretch his legs. He would do best with a more experienced dog owner due to his large size. Kingston knows his basic commands, but only in Polish! He will likely need a crash course in commands to learn the new words. If you would like to make Kingston a member of your family, please visit him at our Morton Grove Adoption Center! Our Adoption Hotline, 847-728-5434 option 2, is open Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm and we are happy to assist you with any questions! To apply to adopt a pet from Wright-Way Rescue, please fill out an online application at www.wright-wayrescue.org. Once approved, you may place a reservation to meet the pet you see above. Please place a reservation only if you are seriously considering adding this pet to your home.Wright-Way Rescue has two locations, the North Shore Humane Center and the Admission and Medical Services Campus. About Wright-Way Rescue

About Our Shelter...

Wright-Way Rescue is an all-breed, no-kill, lisenced, not for profit animal shelter. We deal with a high volume of puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats who would otherwise be euthanized. We concentrate our efforts on animals whose temperament best suite the needs of the average "family" adopter. All animals come up to date on medical care, and with 30 days of free pet insurance.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Wright-Way Rescue hosts adoption events through the Vernon Hills Petco located at 555 Townline Rd in Vernon Hills IL. These events are most weekends of the month. We generally bring 40-50 available animals to each event! For a complete listing of our events please visit www.wrightwayrescue.rescuegroups.org.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential homes should be willing to fill out an online application, or one in person at our event. We interview new adopters and place pets based on their needs and the suitability of the adoptive home. We do take "reservations" on our animals prior to our events with an approved application/ reference check.
