My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jodi is a 6 month old, 6 lb. Shih Tzu/Poodle mix (a designer dog known as a Shih-Poo). She is a very outgoing, friendly girl. Jodi's best friend at her foster home is a 15 lb. standard Doxie boy. She loves to play and wrestle with him - and is the one in control - an alpha girl for sure. She would probably do best in a home where there was another smallish male dog to play with. Of course she would love a fenced yard and an active family. She is doing very well with her potty training and has few accidents as long as you are able to be home and notice her signals when it is time to go out. Jodi is scheduled to be spayed toward the end of November, and then will be ready for her forever home. Jodi is being fostered in Fayetteville, NY and her asking adoption fee is $350.

E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE RESPONDED TO MUCH FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
