My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chase is a 3-year-old lab mix that came to us with an unknown history. We believe he has some hound in him as he is very inquisitive and does quite a bit of sniffing and tracking. He has spurts of playfulness, but spends most of the day lounging around the house and napping. Chase is neutered and current on vaccines and all other preventatives. He is house trained, but might still mark territory due to being neutered later in life.

Chase has shown no signs of food aggression. He didn't mind crate training, but his initial separation anxiety has reduced to a point where he can be trusted with free reign of all living areas in his foster home. Chase is working on basic commands with his foster family right now including sit and lay down. He walks pretty well on a leash and also rides well in the car. His ideal home would be with a family that is active, but calm, and can keep him busy and play with him, but can also respect his space when he is resting. He would do best in a household that does not have younger children (under 10) and where he is the only dog. So far, he does his best to avoid cats and has ignored guinea pigs in cases and turtles in aquariums. Chase is a very good boy that deserves a good home that is a perfect fit for him.
