Bronson's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bronson's Story...
Bronson is a happy three year old little boy who weighs 4.5 pounds. He is fully vetted (neutered, Heartworm negative and rabies and DHPP vaccinations) and microchipped. He is trained to a dog door, but please assume you will have to start with housetraining at the beginning. He is not fostered with cats, but gets along well with other small dogs.

Bronson has a grade 3/4 heart murmur that currently does not require medication, but it might at some point in the future. Before you apply for him, please research heart murmurs in adult dogs and discuss with your vet so that you are prepared for his care. Dogs diagnosed at grades 3 and 4 mean a condition that will require more serious medical attention. Usually there is a persistent cough and the dog will become tired easily.

He will not be adopted to families with small children under the age of 8, and applicants must have experience with the breed and be prepared to show the ability to care for a dog with a heart condition. His adoption fee is $300, and applicants must live within three hours of Blacksburg, VA. Preference will be given to applicants with fenced-in yards.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bronson, a Pearisburg Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Pearisburg, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Pearisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pearisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pearisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pearisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
