I am already spayed and housetrained.
There are so many wonderful things about me, its hard to sum up in this short paragraph, but here it goes! I am one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs you will meet. I love to be in any room you are in, and I love to sit, sleep and rest in your lap. When I say "your" lap, it can be anyone's lap...men, women, children...I just love everyone. I live in a foster home with two very large dogs whom I get along great with, and I spent time with little puppies and I love them too. My foster humans love me to pieces and I enjoy spending time with the kids who are ages 3-9 every chance I get. When the 3 year old twins go to bed, I go back and forth to their bed, resting by their heads to help them fall asleep. Once the twins are asleep, the 9 year old and I sit and watch TV together, and I always hog her lap!
Did I mention I rarely bark? Did I mention I am crate trained, potty trained and walk like a lady on a leash? When I am outside on my leash and other dogs bark at me or walk passed me I just ignore them and focus on the sweet human on the other end of my leash. I don't make a peep at night and would love nothing more than to keep a spot warm for you on your bed. I have also been told I am a kisser, but I don't know what they are talking about I am just showing humans how much I love them and lick their face...so maybe that's what they call a kiss? Every time I make a visit to the vet, those nice people tell me how sweet and I am and how I make best friends with every one there. I absolutely dig riding in the car and I have been know to fall asleep sitting up in the passenger seat because it's so relaxing! I would be a great dog to join you in a family road trip.
I am so happy you stopped to read a little bit about me! If you like to meet me in person and see for yourself, please fill out my application at www.saverescue.org.
S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal. Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes. We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fee range from $150-250 for dogs and $90-125 for cats and each animal is altered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. You will be required to complete an application for your selected pet. You can do so at www.saverescue.org/adoptionapplication. Processing may take up to 3 days. The application will include previous pet experience and vet info, how you will house your new pet and a little about your lifestyle so that we can be sure your pet will mesh with your family's activity level. We want you to have a permanent family member so we will take great care to assure that you find a suitable companion.
