Bernie's Story...
Bernie

My name is Bernie and I am a 20lb Jack Russell mix. I was saved in the nick of time from an overcrowded shelter in SC. The good news is because I'm a little older, I am calm and cuddly. Vet is unsure of my age, but my foster thinks I’m 6-7 years old. I love soft beds and human love. I walk well on a leash. I like other dogs and kids. I'm super friendly and very low maintenance. I'm fully vetted and ready to be your new best friend!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ME, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION (http://goo.gl/VLKtYw). Please do not call about the dog. Our adoption donation is $300 per dog unless otherwise stated. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. Please also visit our website for adoption events, fundraisers and other news. www.RecycledTails.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernie, a Pottstown Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Pottstown, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Pottstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pottstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pottstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pottstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
