Cookie is just as sweet as her name and will melt in your arms. She is an older lady that is looking for a home to live out her Golden Years. She's had a bit of a hard life and is ready for a family to spoil her rotten. Cookie was found wandering alone, covered in fleas and she had obviously been outside a long time. Despite her rough start, Cookie is one of the sweetest ladies you could ever meet! She regularly goes into a foster home and does amazingly well. Cookie is looking for her happily ever after - is it with you?

About Humane Society of Eastern Carolina

About Our Shelter...

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.

Come Meet Our Pets...

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina does on site adoptions at our facility located at 3520 Tupper Drive in Greenville, NC. We also do off site cat and kitten adoptions at PetSmart two weeks of each month. Information about facility operating hours and the PetSmart schedule can be found on our website at www.hsecarolina.org.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters complete a screening application and all adoptions are subject to approval by facility staff and/or facility director. Cats must be kept as indoor pets only. Dogs are adopted as companions, not as guard dogs or yard dogs. Adoption fees vary by species and breed.
