These girls were part of several bunnies from a neglect case in PA that were transported to MHRR in June 2017.
These are actually Velveteen Lops, our first we have ever had at MHRR! Missy (dark brown) & Mary (cream color) were named for states (Maryland & Mississippi) that they traveled through to get to MHRR. They are VERY outgoing and curious, and are extremely treat-driven! They use the litterbox about 75%. Missy is a little more bossy and has a slight head tilt, but it is mild and makes her look even more curious. She has been treated with 30 days of Panacur in case it was caused by e. cuniculi - see more info about e.c. at http://www.kingswoodvets.co.uk/rabbit-e-cuniculi-illness/4586826046.
These girls are fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
MHRR spays/neuters all rabbits prior to adoption. Rabbits are tattoed 'MHR' in the ear while under for spay/neuter (unless done prior to arrival at MHRR).
Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $70 for already-paired rabbits.
Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates). Transport to other areas can sometimes be arranged after adoption approval.
See magichappensrescue.com/adoptinfo for more information on adoption and an adoption application.
Want to help the bunnies but can't adopt? You can sponsor a spay or neuter or help in many other ways. See http://magichappensrescue.com/howtohelp for more ways to help.
